BIOGRAPHY
Marianna Mikhaylyan is a Canadian artist of Russian-Armenian origin born in Moscow in 1972. From 1991 until 1995, she studied as an artist in applied arts at the Moscow Academy. In 1995, she graduated with the Diploma of Excellence. The same year, Marianna became a member of the International Art Fund, fund dedicated to the promotion of talented Russian artists in Russia. Since then, she has participated in various art shows in Russia, USA and Canada. Inspired by her training in figureskating and in classical ballet in Russia, Marianna developed her personal style in visual art, a personal approach expressing, in the flow of movements found in her artworks, the harmony between the objects painted and the space and surroundings around them. Marianna Mikhaylyan’s artworks can be found in private collections around the world including in Russia, USA, Canada, France, Germany, U.K., No rway, Italy, Israel, Australia and Austria.
Marianna Mikhaylyan est une artiste canadienne d’origine russe-arménienne née à Moscou en 1972. En 1995, Marianna Mikhaylyan a obtenu le diplôme d’ excellence de l’Académie de Moscou à titre d’artiste des arts appliqués après 5 ans d’études. La même année, elle est devenue membre du Fonds International des Arts, fonds privé consacré à la promotion en Russie et en Europe d’artistes prometteurs russes. Inspirée par son apprentissage du ballet classique et de sa pratique du patinage artistique dans sa jeunesse en Russie, Marianna Mikhaylyan a articulé nombre de ses travaux en arts visuels dans un style particulier, , une pensée artistique qui cherche à exprimer, dans la fluidité des mouvements, la présence de l’harmonie des sujets peints avec les différents éléments qui l’entourent. Ses représentations se retrouvent dans de nombreuses collections privées à travers le monde notamment en Russie, aux États-Unis, au Canada, en France
