Guy Cranston
Guy Cranston has been influenced by art all his life. Guy’s mother Stuart was a talented artist mentored by Kathleen Morris, a contemporary and associate of Canada’s Group of Seven. His sister Philippa is an accomplished writer and television producer. Guy’s elder brother Toller, is a well known Canadian artist who first wowed the world as an Olympic athlete. Guy was an accomplished wood carver for many years and excelled in creating large “one of a kind” gallery pieces turned on a lathe. He is still a member of the American Association of Woodturners and has competed at the AAW annual World Symposium. He has travelled with Sharon and painted throughout the west coast of Canada and the United States, France, Italy, the UK and Wales. Guy is a member of The Federation of Canadian Artists, Pastel Artists Canada, and Landscape Artists International and the Rideau Lakes Artist Association.
